Yesterday I signed up for NaNoWriMo, the annual “Write-a-novel-in-a-month” write-a-thon that hundreds of thousands of writers participate in every year. The next step, according to their website, was:

However, right now on their website, the message is:

NaNoWriMo 2014 is making its entrance fashionably late. You never thought of NaNo as particularly stylish? How dare you.
…But fair. Fine, we’ll allow it.
The site will be resetting early next week, so make sure to back up any forums posts or threads that are near and dear to your heart! Once the site has reset, the forums will be refreshed to a clean slate, you’ll be able to create your 2014 novels, and the dashboard may or may not debut some new bells and whistles. We’ll see you then! Don’t do anything super fun without us.
